Bought a bunch of new mags for these as they've been dirt cheap, figure I should get a rifle to put the in. Any thoughts for a cheap starter that I can reconfigure from there? I'll end up replacing the stock and the barrel most likely, maybe even adding a suppressor in the future.

If its a 10/22 goto pawn shops or walmart and check around, I rarely see any on the EE but might be worth a shot too.

My bad, it is a 10/22 I'm after. Any differences in the receiver between a regular, magnum and stainless? Will I have problems swapping out a barrel with any of those?

magnum is a different load .22

the rifle,carbine, blue or ss are all similar and none should give you problems with swapping the barrel

wal-mart got mine from there for 166+tax. kinda hard to beat that price. thinking about changing mine to the .17m2. or might just have to buy another one.

Go ahead and get the 2nd one...resistance is futile.

I'm pretty much done with all the ARs I need for a while, so I plan on pimping out another 2 or 3 10/22s over the next year or so.
