Just called to check the status of 2 form 4's I sent in back in August. Both forms were sent in together with one $400 cashier's check and one set of fingerprint cards. Obviously on 2 different form 4's. The lady at the ATF said that the serial # for the AAC can went pending Sept 23rd, but they had no record of the serial for the Octane HD. She said they may have lost the form, or it may be stapled to the other AAC papers. In any case she didn't seem able to help and told me to call back in several weeks. I asked if there was anything she or I could do, or anyone I could talk to. Nope.
The likelihood of this just waiting to be assigned seems unlikely to me, as half of the paperwork applied to both cans. Any ideas?!?!?! |
