I need the technical name for the flexible spring tube of the type used by Mr. Bullet Feeder and other similar products.  I’m trying to put together a combination of my Hornady case feeder and Lee APP that works better than what I have using a rigid drop tube.  I’d also like to avoid buying a part for a specific product that comes with product-specific ends, etc.

Thanks in advance.

The technical name is just an extension coil spring. The colloquial name would be spring tube or guard. They're typically used to protect the exterior of hosing; i.e. a brake line.

Youll want to look for extension spring stock.  Ive found McMaster the best place to get them as you have a huge variety of sizes.
