I am wondering what options are out there for miniature red dots such as Trijicon RMR and Burris Fastfire. Are these NV compatible like an EOtech or Aimpoint?
I'm thinking along the lines of the really small ones that can be mounted on the top of a rifle scope (J point mount or scope ring with picatinny mount etc). Something like this... Sorry if this is a common question, I did a quick search but didnt find what I was looking for. Thanks in advance! |

The Insight MRDS and Trijicon RM07 I believe have NV settings
I have the insight with a metal shroud looks like a mini eotech very nice I leave it on 24/7 and change the battery once a year I know others you named are adjustable but I'm unsure if they have actual dedicated NV settings also some models are automatic brightness controlled I believe the j point is one some rmr models are not adjustable as well for nv use I would recommend one of the above I'm sure someone will give you more input shortly |

I asked a very similar question that is on the bottom of this page right now. Trigicon RMR is listed as night vision compatible. Well I started various questions in various places. I thought it was in the other thread, but I don't see the response that recomended the RMR variable brightness anymore. Ok, it was from the RMR fountain of Youth thread. but I was entirely mistaken about the author. -- RMO looks nice - but the word rifle is in its name. A pistol slide is a more abusive environment. |
