My New Pre Ban Space Gun
 I know some of you will not like the exposed gas tube but after trying a long and short (M4) Floating RAS's I like the look of the short floater. Honest I will not burn my self and the goal here was extreme accuracy, extreme reliability and a different look. Features and parts: Kreiger 1:8 18" 5.56 chamber, Medium weight barrel, with full length gas tube for reliability and neat looks. GGG flip up front sight. Tango Down pistol grip. Gemtech bi-lock muzzle brake for attaching my M96D suppressor. ACE fully functional retract SOCOM stock. PWA Pre-Ban receiver and RRA Flat top upper. Both painted with Lauer DuraCoat, cut 10:1 for semi matte finish. KNS Anti-Walk Non-Rotational Trigger Pins, size .15555(over size) RRA trigger 2 stage Arms #40 flip up rear sight Badger Ornance Tac Latch Young Mfg Bolt carrier and Bolt KAC free floating RAS M4 RRA flat top upper, hand fit by us. I'm not a big fan of the hot dog bun warmer - I mean the exposed barrel. I have a tough enough time trying not to burn my hands on a Car barrels front sight/hand guard clip. With that much barrel exposed, I can just see myself blistering up my left hand as it slides forward off the tube and onto the barrel.

i like it. just having an 18" bbl makes it different. sounds like you put some time into it.
oh yeah, i feel really sorry for you having to deal with all of those parts and accessories.

It's neat but I would try to get a metal tube to slip over the gas tube. One drop on that tube and your screwed.

Cool, but when that gas tube heats up, be friggin' careful with it. I wouldn't set it on anything, might melt whatever it touches or worse, start a fire!! Have fun with it though.
