When I emailed Amega Ranges www.amegaranges.com/cgi-bin/shop.pl/page=index.html, which is the manufacturer, they said it would be available shortly, so I doubt you can find many people on this board that have tried it.

The Garand model seems to have positive reviews, however.

It says that it only fits "Mil-spec" barrels...

I hope i don't come of ignorant here but I don't know if the barrel on a Scout/Squad is "Mil-Spec"... Is it?

"mil spec" probably refers to the USGI contour barrels.  Most M1A's today will have a GI contour barrel if its not a medium or heavy weight barrel.

Did anyone catch the price on this mount?  Knights Armament makes one, which is a bit rich for my blood as I'd get the SAGE stock for $150 more than KAC is selling that RAS for...

Also I can't tell from the pics but is that a M-1913 rail or a weaver rail on there?
