The mag tube clamp I have is pushing the extension down towards the ground a few mm and it's big enough to where you can see it. Should I be worried about stress on the extension threads?

Thanks Guys.

What weapon, what tube, what clamp.......for example: there are different clamps for the Remington LE tubes and one has a X on it and the other does not.  don't know if this is the issue as I  Can't answer without knowing the correct info.

My clamp has a different size 'top'  and 'bottom' diameters to each side.
Check to see whether the clamps are the same top/bottom diameter, and if not, make sure the same diameter is both top and both bottom matched.
Mine was cocked at first because I had one side larger top, and other side larger bottom.
My explanation is for shit, but look-see anyway.
It should matter which side is up because the barrel is smaller diameter than the extension.

Other than that, you may just have the wrong clamp.

The clamp will have two different sized holes. The extension gets the big hole and the barrel gets the small hole.

It is a cheap shitty clamp.... anybody have one they are happy with?

Extension is TacStar and has ran like a champ forever and still runs great.

Gun is a Benelli SuperNova Tac.

Aha... I have the same problem with my Tac-Star. Except mine bends towards the barrel slightly. It functions perfectly, so I don't pay too much attention to it.

Not worried about thread stress at all?

Not too worried, the tube clamp doesn't move it down any so it doesn't put any stress on the threads. Its the actual tube that is "bent", not the part that screws onto the shotgun.
