Finally got to compare a FALO to an M14A1. The FN is superior.

M14A1 20 rounds offhand bursts

FN FALO (50.41) offhand bursts (bipod removed)

Saxon Armament is my engineering/design company which I contract out to other gun companies to do that type of work. Occasionally, like now, I will do some of my own things that I eventually end up selling. Original Stoner 63 drums are 8-10K and extremely rare so I designed this one that looks similar, works the same way but will only cost around $300.

Very cool!
Thanks for sharing.

Now who's going to reproduce the guns?

I suppose KAC makes the closest surviving relative, right?
Which would you prefer as a post sample, the 63A or KAC's modern LMG?

Join the Stoner 63 group on FB if you want to know about the repro guns that are coming together.

Since I have a 63A, I'd love to ahve one of KAC's LMGs.

Depends on the day haha

I really like the M16 platform for its versatility with uppers etc. The Thompson and MP40 are special occasion guns now but they shoot very smooth.

I like the m11/9 with lage for just throwing tons of ammo.

Overall M16 I think.

Hotchkiss MDLE 1922.  This is the second one I've crossed paths with in Afghanistan in 10 yrs.  Both are I believe from the Turkish contract in 7.9mm.  Both feed from 15 or 30 rd feed strips from the side.

2019 find with still forward pistol grip and bipod attached.

2009 find in lesser condition.  Missing forward PG, bipod, and charging handle (cleaning rod substitution)

That's cool!
Is the Austen mag well a drop-in replacement for most any MKII Sten?
Is there a good source for Austen mag wells currently?

Yes it appears that it is a drop in and acts   just like a MK2 mag well . As far as I know I have one of the only ones , I’ve seen reference to one or two kits sold over the years but I haven’t seen another, it’s an odd little item to be sure.

The biggest problem with the fat ghost is that you can't use a gemtech/gsl locking collar on it with the front grip. I had TSC Machine modify mine by opening up the center hold on the grip mount and mouting it to the upper via the corners instead of the two screws Sam at practical solutions used. Turned out really nice(TSC refinished the gun and upper as well).

Here's my M10 attached to my Street Sweeper. I had a thread a month or so ago about it and something on Reddit. If you want those links, I can send them to you. It's silly and just a range toy, but pretty fun!
