MFI's 556 bayonet lugs are soon to be available. Mike says his new 556 products are coming on line. The next item available will be the takedown pins(exact copies of the swiss pins), followed by his sight sets, etc.
I spoke to Mike on the phone today, he said the 556 stuff is being delayed by the financial problem the county is having. Many of his subcontractors are having credit/cash flow problems currently and are having to lay off employees and cut back on their business operations. Mike has already let out contracts and has been informed his orders will be filled, just at a slower rate. Friggin' Democrats screw us again.
MFI Sig556 products
Anyway, back to the bayonet lug, a preproduction sample. It appears to be a direct copy of the Swiss Sig "Nato" unit. The only difference I could see is that the Sig lug has a #6 stamped on it
Swiss Sig lug
MFI lug
MarColMar Swiss style lug
The MFI lug even has the casting marks in the same location as the Swiss lug.
MFI, Marcolmar, Sig
The MFI lug fit in the 556 gasblock perfectly and installed easily as long as you slightly taper one end of the roll pin prior to insertion in the gasblock.
The M10 bayonet slid smoothly on the lug and locked tight with no wobble.
So if you're looking for a bayonet lug to stab zombies or libtards this combination should work well.
