Is there anyone out there been able to hit man size targets or smaller at 600 meters through an M4?

600m is 7.62NATO territory. I don't think I'd ever try it thru and M4.

it can be done reliably. easy as pie with an A2 but its possible with the M4. an ACOG makes it a bit less daunting and almost easy. cant vouch for the oomph behind an M855 at through a 14.5 at that distance though.

The ammo/gun combo is accurate enough, but with the reduced iron sight radius, those ranges are best left for magnified optics with the M4.
