Called on a classified ad for an M1 carbine, he said the manufactuere is L. Iversal.  I googled it but couldn't come up with anything.  Aftermarket?

ETA:  Nevermind, if you wear off part of "Universal" you get L Iversal.  Guess it's an aftermarket.

Universal or perhaps Ivor Johnson.  Avoid the Universal like the plague.  The Ivor may or may not be a good rig.
