Can someone tell me what thread pitch the current production Springfield M1A (any year I guess is fine) uses for the flash suppressor?

I need to use a Smith Vortex flash suppressor that is designed for the M1A for something else.

Thanks in advance.

THESE guys might get you an answer pretty quick..

A fellow there named "Different" is the expert to end all and usually is logged on frequently...I think he is a Team Member here on AR15.com too...

still don't know the thread pitch but the FAL 9/16x24 threads are what I need and this Vortex is not it.

Thanks anyway

Do you need a FAL vortex in 9/16x24LH? If you do, I have one that I would sell. Planned on using it for my KTR-03V project but ended up using an AR-10 vortex instead...it's new, never used. IM me if you want it.
