Hi there.  I'm looking to get a nice M1 this summer, once I have the proper amount of cash available for the transaction.  I have about $350 saved up so far, and I'm going to get a job this summer (I'm 17) so I can pay for the rest, as well as other expenditures.  At first I wanted an AR, but of course, liberal do-gooders have seen it fit to ban them here in CA.  And I'm not paying $300 for a lower that is a dumbed-down version of the same lower that would otherwise cost me about $100 (FAB-10).  

So I thought with the CMP program I could get another legendary semi-auto rifle (but 30-06 here hat
