I'm in the CA bay area and have some time and money this summer. I'm looking for an urban/tactical carbine class, both for awareness and for fun. I shoot a bunch and have all my life but I don't know much about using a rifle in a tactical capcity and would like to learn. I'm wondering what experiences you've had with the "big guys" (Gunsite/Thunder Ranch) or with smaller, local operations. I'm looking at Gunsite since I could drive there; Texas is kind of a haul. Also, I've heard of some California operations but haven't heard any experiences from them. Any info would be appreciated.
