I have been bitten by the FAL bug. I have a SAR-4800 and I think it needs a friend.
I'm looking for a Matching number STG-58 kit. Please let me know if you know of one. Thanks! |

FSE is advertising some STG58 kits for sale but they're not cheap. I got one from FSE about 5 years ago and it was in great shape. The kits were a lot cheaper back then. http://www.fseusa.com/index.php?cPath=103 |

I saw that DSarms had some kits listed on their webpage last night. I did not look too close to see what they were for sure but might be worth a few clicks to take a look.
EDIT- I dont know how to do a hot link but they are under SA58/Fal Products then under SA58 Parts/ACCESS. then under part sets. |

Anymore, it seems like the cheapest way to get a good STG-58 kit is to buy one already built on a receiver. Here's a fine looking STG-58 built on an Imbel receiver for under $800––little more than the kits posted above in this post.
http://www.sturmgewehr.com/webBBS/semi4sale.cgi?read=224998 A couple weeks ago, an AZEX build STG58 went for under $900 on the FALfiles. Kit prices keep going up, but built rifle prices continue to slide. |
