Hello all,

I am looking for a good gunsmith in the Central Florida area (near Orlando) to permanently attach (pin and weld) a Vortex flash hider to the barrel of an AR15.

If you know of anybody good... please reply with name and contact info.

Thank you...

If you can't find anybody in your area who can do it, one of the best AR smiths in the country is Kurt Wala who's shop is in Bushnell, about an hour from Orlando. He's very busy especially right now but if he can't do it to an AR then it can't be done.

Do not use A-1 Gunsmith in Tampa. Very bad experience with these guys - plus he is an idiot to boot.

Buy a Mapp torch at Home Hardware and some silver solder paste at Brownells and do it yourself. I've done a few, its not that hard.
