100% in for a LIMA 7. Already plotting what I will need for a build Just gotta start saving up early this time. Also, 100% in for DPMS pattern lowers. Stoner/SR25 pattern is such a small portion of the AR-10 market share that it would diverge pretty heavily from making it an accessible platform. |

From a market share aspect yes, the slant cut is cool, but for those wanting to "Build as you go" the DPMS cut makes more sense as for as share of market. Of course Insta is all over the Stoner cut! It does look way cooler! |

Maybe is the right word when I got the hydra lower and a week later the ambi version came out. only to find out to get the ambi upgrade id have to bascially spend the same amount as a whole new lower to get it. Wish I would have seen yalls lower because its a lot cleaner and the drop through hole for links when you accidentally drop one is nice. Doing the same clean setup for the 308 version would be sweet! |

I can't wait. Hopefully I'll be able to get in on the first frop as I did with the 6. Looking forward to making it a heavy beast with a 20 in bull barrel and full length handguards with the bipod as far forward as possible. |

| Maybe you can co-develop a Lima 8 at the same time is working on Lima 7. IE, a stretched version to run cheap 8mm Mauser ammo. Easier to find cheaper ammo and often already linked. Not saying release it at the same time, but maybe design with such a goal in mind from the start? |

This is awesome!!!! I'm 100% in! I need to get my Inocolulm lower for my next L6. I'm self dubbing it the L6A1 vs the current L6 I have on a Hydra lower I want to do a an L7A1, inocolulm lower, piston with QCB. Harvey is a great communicator and inclusive on these things, hopefully the the communication stays current as the L7 develops with the other companies. I'm off to start aquiring accessories for the L7. Mk48 sacks, more links, another bipod, stock, riser, grip, lpk, sights and a 762 B&T muzzle device. Now who makes the best 762 FRT? |

Here's another adapter for an M249 butt plate to a Magpul PRS Lite and/or whatever the collapsible version is called. You'll need a 1" long 10-24 button head or flat head cap screw. It adds .200" of length. SAW adapter STL SAW Adapter STEP ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

It is about the last thing I need to figure out for my build. The dedicated L6 rails that we currently have on our site are custom made for us and there are several modifications. They have more clearance for the riflespeeds, they use a longer barrel nut for more rigidity, we delete the swing QD holes, and we changed the shape of the front cut (it's a straight 90 degree cut instead of angled). FYI, the first few hundred units we shipped had modified Midwest rails, then we switched over to the custom made rails. |

Sounds like I need to wait for the dedicated 10.25in L6 rail to come back in stock then! |

While the heatsinks are just that, aluminum heatsinks and they do a great job keeping it cool. The star of the show for me was the gas tube. What an absolute chonker of a gas tube. Its crazy thick and also fins are machined into it. With all the extra weight I definitely dont see the need to go to 20". |

I may go that route. The issue is that most (if not all) 20" barrels are rifle length. You end up needing a massive gas port and still can't reliably run our recommended buffer setup. You can run rifle length systems but they take very careful setup and may only run certain ammo types reliably. |

One thing I've learned is that any hard chromed part in the firearms industry takes absolutely forever to get. There are not many chrome shops and they are all insanely backlogged. Add it to the list of many many parts that I'm trying to get by throwing money at vendors. Gas tubes, links, barrels, and overruns of our parts to sell as spares...we just cant get enough parts fast enough. That being said, we are on track to have everything in stock on our website by the end of this year, including uppers, kits, and spare parts. |

Don't have my Lima yet but saw some comments about some stuff fitting worse than others. Out of state friend sent me this, not sure if they might be a good idea to grab and shipped to me. Guess I can't direct upload photo https://x.com/Sludig_foh/status/2089803290733089067?s=20 |
| My upper build kit arrived, ordered March 14th. I can finally start putting it together! Now I'm just waiting for my Inconel Gas Tube ordered the same day (different order) but is shows shipped with invalid tracking. I've reached out via email and Insta, if someone from Lima Six could assist on getting this sorted I would appreciate it! |
