| Finally found the .269 LS I needed. Put it in the vise with a piece of wood on the other side and started turning. It's down to about 1/8" left and it won't go any further. No matter how much I tighten the vice, it's just cracking the wood. It looks to be lined up properly with the recess, but it just wont' seat that last little bit. Any suggestions? |

you might have an oversized LS here's an info packed thread of some relevance perhaps. |
| Drive the shoulder back out, turn it around and make sure the head fits in the recess in the reciever. They are often a little big and require a little dremel magic. I drive them with a roll pin punch that has had the tip ground to fit the dimple in the LS. +1 on a little gun grease also. |
