I posted this in GD to gloat but figured it was more appropriate here. Anyway, I just thought I would share.

Nice. Mine's done too. Now if that tax stamp would hurry up and get here so I could go get my upper out of storage put the thing together.

Sorry,
It started life as a M1S kit build. The only thing left over from that is the bbl, upper receiver, bolt and trigger group.

LAR lower
M1S 16 inch bbl cut, crowned and threaded by ADCO
Magpul toys (stock and grip kit) on it. .mil spec tube though
9mm buffer since the carbine one wasn't working out too well.
YHM Diamond FF tube with Knights rail covers
CAA VFG
YHM Phantom thread mount suppressor.
Trijicon Reflex sight with gooseneck mount. The recticle is of the amber triangle variety

All told it's a hair under 2k with tax stamps and I haven't even upgraded the bolt or charging handle to a gasbuster

Nice rifle, but have you heard of 800x600 or 1024x768?
