I'm guessing the guy with the SVD isn't American... I mean besides the SVD, no helmet cover and three color deserts.

Not a member of the United States Armed Services.

There is a person in the lower left foreground wearing woodland camo.

I would say none of them are US, but so long as they are not Taliban, I'm all for them!

Marine ETTs were wearing Green MCCUUs out in RC East.  However, they kind of look like a MSOT.

All kinds of wrong, he is a member of the USMC, with a PSL not an SVD and a helmet cover does not a U.S. military man make! Also there is another picture of him in that set somewhere.

Definitely a PSL.

We used captured SVD to augment or scouts the last time I was there. Why not?

The soldier with the PSL is an American Marine:

Is it the one with a haggard look to him and a bitter wartorn grimace painted on his face?

Being a former ETT I can tell you he likely borrowed that PSL from the ANA to use the scope for a little scanning or perhaps a little longer range shooting.

The ANA mainly have Arsenal AKs, Romanian PSLs, and alot of used guns from the last 10-20 wars there.
