Seems to be a standard
bead sight on a ramp.

Thats a common bead on base sight as found on most modern Remington Brls. I greatly prefer them to a beabd with no base.

If you are able to braise it on the barrel then you can get the base and braising shim from Remington. Be prepared to have to refinish the barrel as the heat is going to FUBAR the finish.
