Howdy!!!!
  I've an SKS with a gernade lancher.  I'd like to use this the lanch retriving dummies for my dog.  Can I use a regular blank???  Can I use a emty case and a primer???

No.  Grenade blanks are loaded with different powder, and loaded much hotter than normal blanks.  A standard blank would be lucky to fire a grenade 10-15 feet.  I kinda doubt it will be all that easy to find a 7.62x39 rifle blank.  Also, unless you remove the bayo lug first, your rifle is illegal under 922(r) with the grenade launcher installed.

lets not forget about the grandfather clause here. If his sks is pre ban or a C&R he can have all the evil issue goodies he likes on it
