M1A gurus.........

I just traded a spare Colt LEO 6920 for a kinda odd Springfield M1A.......

Supposedly was a Lew Horton special issue from a few years back...... Specs on the package:

Fajen stock with wood handguard - never seen an M1A with all wood before......beautiful light colored wood........ Does not appear to be glass bedded.....
SA SS Match barrel
NM Front Sight
Cant tell if the rear sights are NM.......?
Match trigger group
1 10rd mag, 3 20rd mags - All SA USGI
1 SA 3rd Gen Scope Mount
1 SA 6X40 Govt Rangefinding Reticle Scope
SA Tan Leather Sling
SA Ballistic Nylon Case with integral five magazine Pouches.....

I am undecided about what to do with it....... I think I made out OK in the trade -I would love to turn it into a Psuedo DMR type rifle......... but I will have to work some serious Off duty gigs on the sly to fund all of that..........

Could someone please give me a rundown of the total price for this - the weapon is unfired..........

Does the rear sight have a hood. NM rear sights were hooded to cut glare off the aperature. Sounds like a "loaded model" check the Springfield website for MSRP.

      No hood - I think you are right on it being a Loaded model - however - the Fajen stock is the big ? here - I can find next to nothing on it.............
