when was you check cashed ?

but I would give it at least 2 month

quite honestly I do not even call any more. I just wait not much I can do even when I call and they tell me I am pending since such and such date but again if you want to call wait a few weeks.

enjoy the wait - you should have it by October or so

why bother calling?
as long as check is cashed

typical wait is 4-6 months (usually the later)
they will contact you if there is an issue

Why call?  If anything give them 6 or 7 months before you worry about it.

Yeah, if it takes 6 months to get these things stamped then I can't imagine they have anyone with time to answer the phones.  Couple weeks after I sent it in I saw my check cashed. Good enough for me until the 6 month mark passes.

The ATF has receptionists/customer service agents to answer the phones at NFA Branch.

No one you are calling and talking to at the front desk is an examiner so you are not slowing anything down by calling and checking the status of your paperwork.

My check was cashed two months ago.  Stop calling them.  I'd like to have this thing by the first day of summer.  Or Halloween if you all keep bothering the one guy that fills out the paperwork.

The way this are right now wait 6 or 7 months before calling or all your going to hear is your pending.

Call at 2 months to make sure they got it and it is pending.  Then sit back as time flies for the next 3 to 4 months.  Then, wait anxiously as the final month slowly creeps by.  You can call at any time but you will just get pending as your answer.
