I juect received my Form 1 back frm the County Sheriff. Everthing is all signed and ready to go, before I mailed everthing out I gave the forms the once over and discovered that I transposed two numbers in the serial number of the AR15 receiver that I am turning into a short barrel firearm . I guess I should be greatful that I caught the mistake before I sent it all in.
My question - can I correct the serial number? I crossed out the incorrect serial number, initialed the mistaket and wrote the correct one beside it. I also i explained what occurred in my cover letter. Will this work - or do I need to start over again? Thanks Chris |
