I have been invited to go wild hog hunting. I have a choice of two rifles, one is the Socom 16 which has an Eotech holographic sight with a flip to side 3X magnification tube and the other is a SA M1A with a Trijicon scope.
I will be posting for a while but the bulk of the time we will be driving through on a Gator. Which one of these two setups will be more practical? Thanks. |

The terrain is mostly wooded with a few open fields which stretch for a couple of hundred yards.
It seems the Socom may be the way to go since it will allow me to turn and shoot quicker. Quoted:
