I was set to pull the trigger on a set of Team Wendy Epic Air pads for my MICH. However, I stumbled on to a thread where someone AND a rep from TW talked about how the pads do NOT pass first article testing. It seemed like this has to do with the military's standards for blunt force/impact.

Can anyone speak to this?

I do have a set of unopened Oregon Aero pads... do they meet all standards?

Again, any thoughts on this stuff??

Thanks

Go with the Oregon Aero if your concerned, plus it keeps money in your pocket...

But have they passed this "testing"...if so...what is the real world use of the testing and why would TW bring a product to market that had not passed it?

Thanks

I'm fairly sure the OA have, but in general I would not worry to much about it - but I can understand where your coming from too...

Do you need them to meet regs? I assume not. Have you visited the Oregon Aero site?
