I was at my local gun-store, one of the dealers said that H&K is replacing their USP line with another model this year. Has anyone heard of this, or is this guy full of it?

Different size backstraps will probably prove to be very profitable.  I can't believe I never thought of that.

Cool!
Now I have an excuse to get another H&K.

Now which calibre should I get?

Anyone got a price on it yet?  I was told that the pistol would be available to dealers in September, but wasn't given a dollar figure.

DOH!! I just told my wife that the Mil-Spec Operator 1911 would be the last one for a while.

This looks like it may be a decent CCW gun.  I wonder what these puppy's are going to cost?

moments of weakness have almost led me to purchase a subcompact gl*ck-but the mini USP would make my year...

You mean theyre gonna replace it something that has less that 2,637,023 parts!?!?!!?  That would be great!!

Juggernaut,

A European member on HKPRO (also a works for a gun mag there), reported back from IWA, the big Euro show.

He said that HK confirmed that a subcompact P2000 is in the works.  There are prototypes, but no pictures release to the public yet.

Here are 3 super-secret, not-yet-unavailable, I'd-show-you-but-then-I'd-have-to-kill-you images of the P2000.

Apparently, it'll have picatinney rails as well.

Now that you've seen them...

what is that little thing to the bottom-left of the hammer..some type of saftey? did they do away with the decock lever/saftey of the usp. that's one of my favorite features.

ps. i thought the same of the p99, but still think the hk intrepretation is not as faggy.
