Forgive my ignorance but can anyone tell me what the difference is between the M1A and the M-14, or is there?. Also, what can I expect to pay for a new Springfield M1A. Lastly, I see some ads for a LOADED M1A 9222 is this a Springfield? and what does LOADED mean?

Thanks

The M1A is Springfield's semi auto copy of an M14 which is select fire ie machine gun (for the most part).  Springfields web site will tell you all about their different models and options.  I've seen prices go from $1300 for their least expensive up to $2300.
