So on the 10-22 Threads a guy is in the process of turning a 10-22 into a Kriss Vector.  As a mechanical Engineer who happens to own a GSG 5PK, I thought the PK would make a much more natural substitute than a 10-22 simply because the size seems more similar.  SO I used SolidWORKS to create a Vector Shell which will use the existing attachment points on the GSG5PK.  I also designed a rear stock that folds down under the pistol grip.

The magazine slides into a channel that is made to help direct it into the magazine well.  Releasing the magazine would require pushing the button on the side of the weapon as opposed to pushing the thumb lever.   The system allows for attachment of picatinny rails and also has a hand grip built into it.

Anyway, I'm extremely tired and can't attach pictures but here is a link to my flickr account with a rendering.

Next week I will try to get onto a CNC router at work and rout this sucker out of 3/4" black ABS, then bead blast it.

Opinions?  Yes I am aware that mounting this to the gun will make it an SBR and that it illegal so if this turns out looking nice I will apply for a stamp.

What do I need to do to be able to simply put a picture in a post on this forum?  Do you have to pay a membership fee?

That is absolutely badass.  I bet a lot of ppl would buy that if you ever put it into production.

The thing I would be worried about is you cannot attach forward grips to pistol unless I am mistaken I hope I am. So is this a grip or is it stock of the firearm. I would be leary of how the law would view this. Unless yu already SBR'd your gun leagally?

the laws are obscure about this because it is not a pistol grip or a vertical foregrip.  Technically, it is an angled foregrip.  It does not allow the user to grip it with his thumb like one could a pistol grip.  The thumb goes up over the barrel as it would if this were not installed.

also what you are seeing is a prototype mule which currently is not affixed to any gun.  It was cnc machined but needed a lot of tweaking to get it to fit.  The final design will fit beautifully though.  Right now I am looking for a manufacturer who can absorb some of the costs to get this thing ATF approved, like a slide fire stock.

ideally it will be injected molded out of black ABS and have a nice textured finish.. The way this was made means it would cost about $250, which I feel is too expensive.

I agree though, it certainly looks bad-ass!

I'm just wondering if I am ever going to get the parts for which I paid you $200.  Any chance of that happening this century?

How do I contact a medrator for help?  Will he/she give me the guy's address?  I can always pay him a visit.

Thanks for the response.

There is rules that are in place for these situations when they occur. They cannot give you an address that would probably get the website sued unless they are ordered to by local law through warrants or somthing. There is a process to this and if you follow it at least this will not happen to someone else. Most likely they will lock his account and contact the seller and try to sqaush it professionally. I understand your frustration, To contact a mod go to your messages screen select EE_Sale_Problems and send it with the story and screename of the people involved and then the process will start.I hope it all works out for you.

Thanks.  I was just kidding about the address.  I care about the principles involved, but I am lucky enough to write off a $200 loss without losing much sleep.

I'll start the process as you suggested.  I appreciate the help.  Just more proof that there is more good than bad here.

I understand the thought to tell the truth it would probably be more beneficial to society overall if we had better more active action allowed in these situations to make people be a little scared to make a move to steal or rip off someone. As our laws are supposed to protect us law abiding citizens it seems to protect the criminals more from prosecution then it does to serve us law abiding citizens. Hope it works out Just remeber the rules and follow them here once the process gets started  keep it to yourself and the mods involved until it is finished you don't want to start haveing torches and pitchforks after anyone until it is official. The user will get his in the end if deserved.

hey give a guy a break.  I shipped him the part on saturday.  Here's what happened.  He contacted me through this asking about buying a part, the one in my picture.  We went back and forth about price,  but during our go-arounds about price my computer went down with viruses and trojans.  Basically my wife was letting my 9 yr old son have uncontrolled access to the pc and he was going to every gaming site on the internet, picking up every trojan, virus malware and spyware ever made.  I lost contact with him for a while because I sent my pc to some computer shop to fix it.   Then I got my computer back and contacted him and we agreed on a price. The next day my wife calls and says the computer is down again.. This time it's terminal.  There are no icons on the home page and the c drive appears to be deleted..

so I tried to log in from work but my work computer doesn't allow me to come to this site.. It doesn't allow me to go to any "forum" type websites.. So I ask my wife to keep an eye on paypal for me because,1) it's her account, 2) she keeps changing the password and 3) it is now linked to her gmail account if we get and messages from it - pertaining to activity.  She never tells me that a deposit was made.

so I think the guy has changed his mind.  In the meantime, I decide I'm going to make a second one for the guy only to be told by our wood shop supervisor that I can't use the cnc machine for personal use anymore because some guy in our metal shop was making a suppressor during work hours.. So when my wife never tells me that there is money in paypal, I'm a little relieved.

then on Wednesday I get a call and it turns out he did put money into paypal.  I call my wife and she's like "oh I saw there was money in there and wondered why". I asked why she didn't tell me and she had no answer.  Without getting into too much, I frankly think it's a miracle she didn't cash in the money and buy herself more clothes.

I honestly felt like the worlds biggest piece of shit when I got the call.  I was furious with my wife but that's how things have been going recently.

so I tried to ship the parts on friday but the UPS store in our town was closed.  So I shipped it 2 day air on saturday.

so how am I logged in now you ask, I bought a used HP Touchpad from one of the IT guys at work because my computer was indeed wiped clean.

I understand where all of you came from and would have absolutely posted the same things.  I just wanted to clear the air.  I am an honest guy, I just have been having a rough go at it lately.

I am glad to see an update thanks. I would rather all things end in a positive fashion as they should always Love the design. Keep it up.

To close this out, Ron did get hold of me and explained the problem.  I had been aware of his first issue with the computer, but wasn't aware of the second (and he had no way of letting me know.)  I was able to get a contact number for him and we worked everything out to my satisfaction at the end of the week.  I suspect the package will be in my hands tonight or tomorrow and look forward to playing with it.  He appears to be a genius to have designed this and I feel lucky to be getting it.
