Successfully submitted the form1 application via the ATF website early this AM. Got the green check mark that the application has been validated successfully. It's paid, signed and submitted. At the bottom under Confirmation it says your application has been submitted for processing.
I have received an email acknowledging the payment, but nothing for the form submission. Further, the form only shows as draft when I log on to the website. I can select it, select edit and see that it shows on the certify page that it has been submitted for processing. Is this normal? First time going through this, but it seems that most people have it changed from Draft to Submitted immediately after submission. |

Yes I, clicked Sign & Submit and re-entered my password. The form when I view it shows as submitted on the certify tab, but the forms on the home page shows it as a draft. I've refreshed, logged in/out, etc. |

So this occurrence was bizarre.
I emailed back and forth this AM with an Ask the Experts rep. He was able to see what I was seeing - the application showed as submitted when we opened the draft, but the My Forms section on the Home page did not show the application as submitted. He was unable to find the submitted form in their database, but could see that I had paid. They had me complete a new form from scratch as the old form was unable to be submitted again. It now shows correctly as submitted and I've been charged again. I'm glad I asked them to investigate what seemed like an error on my end of this could've been open for a long time with me thinking my app was in process. |
