I am trying to install a new forend on a mossberg 590, i got the forend off, and unscrewed the end, now how do i get the forend off the tube. I thought unscrewing the end would do it but it seems pretty stuck in the forend and i didnt want to use force if theres another way.

If you're talking about the forend (plastic part) and you already removed the nut, just pull it out. Now, if you're saying the forend metal tube that slides over the mag tube, you've to remove the trigger assy. and action frist in order to get it off.

i got it, just used pliers to grip it and yank it out.  Surefire lighted forend now installed!
