I’m sure this has been asked many times. I need help picking a fixed blade. Which one do you guys recommend? Looking for a camping knife and one I can throw in the truck.

Another option similar in size and price to ones you have listed in the Swamp Rat Rodent 4. Swamp Rat makes outstanding knives for the money IMO. |
| Scrap Yard Knives IMHO are better than any of the ones you have included. They sharpen easily and will hold an edge longer. The handles (Resiprene C) are 10 times better than micarta. Only downside is they do not come with a sheath but there is a link for sheath makers. These and Swamp Rat knives are Bussekins, knives made by members of the famous Busse Combat Knife Company family. |
