I picked up this used FSL in 308 and the sights are way off. At 100 yards if you hold to the bottom of a 4 foot target you might hit the very top edge. It must have the wrong sites on it. I shot it back in 2010 shot it a few times then put it away I would like to find the correct sights and a muzzle break it has LH threads
Hope someone can help me. http://i656.photobucket.com/albums/uu290/rgerh913/2010-01-31/2009-02-31Levis.jpg<a href="http://s656.photobucket.com/albums/uu290/rgerh913/2010-01-31/?action=view¤t=2009-02-31Levis.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i656.photobucket.com/albums/uu290/rgerh913/2010-01-31/2009-02-31Levis.jpg" border="0" alt="FSL"></a> |

That's an Argentine FSL? Sure looks like an L1A1 lower receiver. Does the rear sight fold down? If so, then you probably need to get a metric rear sight. That should get you on target. The L1A1 sights are higher than most metric sights. Thanks so much for taking the time to answer my question Yes its a Argentine FSL post ban the upper and lowers don't match I do have a fold down rear sight and have found a metric rear sight that looks alot shorter which is what I need. http://e-sarcoinc.com/rearsightassycomplete-metricfal.aspx I would also like a muzzle brake its left hand threaded size ? http://i656.photobucket.com/albums/uu290/rgerh913/Black%20Rifles%206-4-11/006-1.jpghttp://" /> http://i656.photobucket.com/albums/uu290/rgerh913/Black%20Rifles%206-4-11/009-1.jpg" />http://i656.photobucket.com/albums/uu290/rgerh913/Black%20Rifles%206-4-11/011.jpg" /> thank you again it will help me with my search |
