1/16 inch is the smallest size allowed by BATFE for NFA engraving

Wrong –– 1/16th is the minimum size for the SN.  Everything else must be .003 deep with no size requirement.

We typically engrave SBR info at .070" to .090" in the trigger guard to ensure legibility. Our machines will deep engrave letters at a size that would require magnification to read it- we simply suggest keeping the SBR info around the 1/16" requirement like the S/N.
