I just finished a FAL on a Entreprise receiver, and among other things that messed up the shape of the ejector, so every round flips around and smacks the side of the receiver, seeing as I have only had it out once the damage isn't that bad, but I know that it will eventually destroy the park job. I had seen someplace that if you change the angle of the ejector just slightly that it will get rid of this problem, but I don't know what side of the ejector to alter. Anyone have this problem and fix it by altering the ejector geometry?

Thanks in advance,

Some pictures of my first FAL build. Runs like a champ.

, you just describes 99.99% of FAL's.

Don't worry about it, they almost all do it, won't hurt the rifle.

It's just one way of knowing that it's not a Safe Queen.

Search at falfiles, there is a thread with pics if you want to fix it.

But as stated above, it really isn't a problem and is common to almost all FALs.

It ain't a piece of jewelry! It happens to all FALs and if your doesn't do it you won't be cool

ETA.....I love that build. I like Metric rifles with wood stocks with the synthetic handguards and Belgian FH. Looks sharp!

What Mike says...

Personally, I'd rather live with the brass kisses on the receiver than file on the ejector...

But that's just me...

I've put a piece of Velcro, the loop (smooth) side, on the receiver just behind the port.

Good looking build.

, what Forrest said.

I would probably Fubar the ejector, break the file, gouge a hole in my thumb, and bleed all over the mag release,,
, hmmmm,
, maybe I would finally earn the Highly Coveted  WECSOG  Certificate
