I am trying to fit 26.5gr of Reloder-15 (max book load Lee manual) under a 60gr V-Max. The case is Remington commercial .223 Rem
Do any of you use a drop tube and does it make that much difference? The best I can get now is the powder level right at the bottom of the neck. I don't mind compressing loads but this is just a little more than I like to compress. Thanks, Motor1 |
![]() I use the drop tube that comes in the Midway powder funnel kit. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/554122/frankford-arsenal-powder-funnel-with-16-nozzles-and-4-drop-tube Bought mine a while ago when they were $12. Its a nice kit. My load with a Sierra 52 gr MK is 27.0 grs Re-15. The drop tube makes this possible.

dryflash, that's awsome info. They still have that kit it is $20 now.
What do you think about this one. It is also 4 inches. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/842036/rcbs-quick-change-powder-funnel-kit?cm_cat=Cart&cm_pla=ProductDesc Sorry I have forgotten how to make a link hot. |

Use the paper clip over the globe Icon in the post block, or go up to FAQ's for more info. That's a less expensive kit, But I don't know anything about it.
