The FAL has 17 enumerated Evil Foreign Parts (EFPs) from which you may have NO MORE THAN 10 in your post 1990 rifle:

receiver
barrel
charging handle (NOT carrying handle)
hammer
sear
trigger
magazine follower
magazine floorplate
magazine body (no US-made variant)
buttstock
pistol grip
forearm/HG
muzzle device
piston
lower (aka trigger mechanism housing)
bolt carrier (no US-made variant)
bolt (no US-made variant)

Choose well. About the easiest is the HST, piston, furniture (Metric primarily), charging handle, and muzzle devices.
