Does any see how this adds up to $1800.00 I emailed the guy and offered $400 Used setup. No way am I using opened powder At the most at retail I come up with ~$700 Press new is $310 RCBS powder system is $275 Tumbler is $50 Dies maybe 100 Am I too low in my offer? |

I look at it like this....
chargemaster is almost $300 new tumbler is like $50 or $60 Press has to be worth $100 the rcbs trim tool is worth $50 or $75 the dies and Wilson gauges have to be another $100 If the powder is unopened figure another $100 Misc tools and brass another $75 or $100 depending So like $750 figuring the press low and the charge master high and not counting whatever there is for projectiles. I think $1800 is dumb. However I think $400 is low. I would think somewhere around $600, maybe $700 tops is more reasonable. If you were someone looking to get into reloading that's a pretty decent set up for $600. If the powder is opened deduct $100 for above. |

I don't know what the heck are in the two blue/purple boxes behind the tumbler, marked $74.95, but the SMK, the Redding T-7 and Chargmaster, are the three big things actually worth some money. That said, even new, at peak prices, I don't think all of that would equal up to $1800.
I wouldn't have offered any more than 400-450 personally. |

Redding T7 press, model RCBS, humm.
I'm thinking this person does not know much about reloading. Just look at his "bench". What bullets? amount? Primers? amount? Powder? Dies? What calibers? A reloader would mention the calibers. I'm a bargain hunter, I would not offer over $500 IF I knew what I was getting. This is just someone who is selling this equipment and thinks he can get retail price. |

$100-powder
$60-Primers $120 dies, but maybe more since they're Redding $200 Sierra Bullets $75 brass? I dont know how much is there or the caliber. Say 500 30-06 at .15cents each which is cheap. $60 for the case gauges $80 Trimmer just guessing $250 powder measure $60 Tumbler $300 Turret Press $30 hand primer No way I'd pay $1800 dollars for that unless there's something Im not seeing. |
