Hi Everyone,

I'm a long time forum stalker but finally had to post. Recently I been looking at pistol caliber SBRs like the MPx and Scorpion. I want to keep it as short as possible and planning on running it suppressed 24/7. I've pretty much decided against the scorpion because it doesn't seem like it'll be that compact. I love the ability to have the suppressor partially covered by the hand guard on the MPX. But there's a bunch of things about the MPX I don't like. Plus I've heard it's not super suppressor friendly.

Recently I've been looking at the MPA930DMG. I'm assuming a suppressor should fit in that handguard. Can anyone verify that?

Does anyone else know of another options?

You could SBR a Glock and use a Roni kit, those kits are nice looking.

This is pretty interesting. I do like the ability to use the gun in multiple configurations. How does this work with the silencer though?

there's a slide in stock for the Scorpion, but you're going to run into the same thing with both the MPX and Scorpion; the barrels are close to twice the length of what a handgun converted to SBR is going to give you.

Scorpion, slider stock, Omega9k =

Haha, that's the exact setup I was looking at for a long time. Better make a move soon before I change my mind AGAIN

VFG folds up/down, and the cosmetic "FH" removes to accommodate a suppressor partially inside the shell...

(Mine in these pics is a G21 with an Octane 45HD [long-ish as PC suppressors go], but they make a RONI for the small frame Glocks as well.)

I kind of wish I would have done this, I'm still itching for a .45 pcc.

So, MPA told me the inside diameter of their handguard is 1.57". Do you think that would cause any problems with the typical suppressor in the 1.37 -1.38" range? Sounds like a pretty tight fit.

On a fixed barrel that's plenty of clearance. It may get warm on the handguard with mag dumps though...
