some one give me the specs, and i will make a run of em. i dont know if i would use delrin thou, delrin is a good self lubing plastic but it is on the harder end something along the line of abs might be better. also abs should be cheaper if no one has the specs i might try to tear mine down to find out but i really dont want to, because too many thing to pop loose. |

Nice. Well done and took the time for pictures aswell. I posted a fix thread awhile back. Didnt get much attention though. I used a memory type foam block myself. I used a "light" touch of glue on that screw that holds the charging handle in aswell. They can come loose. Loctite would do the same. Nice work though. Bet you really could sell some. The foam method actualy isnt the best when it comes to the handle sitting fully forward. Good for a soft buffer though. Nice pictures and modding btw. Bet a hybrid would be nice. |

C=Man, I know this thread didn't start out with the intensions of selling these, but per the rules of the forums, no selling is allowed outside the EE. If you want to continue to sell these please post an ad in the EE. You can post a link to the EE ad here if you want. Thank you. |

Ok, two questions about this: 1) Is the purpose of this to stop the charging handle from hitting the front of the channel it rides in? Has anyone had problems as a result of this occurence? 2) If this delrin button is now striking the end of the cocking tube, can this present its' own problem over time? ETA: Waiting to see what the price is once these are in EE...they look like a good idea. |
I don't think I ever offered to sell buttons here. The folks that have contacted me privately have received a reply. But please show me where I offered them for sale here on the GSG5 Forum? |
