Ok, about a month ago i submitted my very first form 4 for a suppressor. Last week I noted that my check has been cashed by the NFA.
Is this a good indicator that there was no major errors with the application? And that said form has passed the/any primary screening? Or do they cash it prior to even looking at them at all? MLG |

It's only a sign that they received your paperwork, tore out the check, cashed it, and threw your application in a giant pile of other applications. Seriously - It has nothing to do with your paperwork. Try to forget about it. Call the ATF in a month or a little more to confirm a pending date (simply means your form is in the system and has been given to an examiner), and then forget again. I have one form pending right now. Sent: April 30 Cashed: May 9 Pending: June 8 Approved: ??????
