I recently purchased two suppressors from a Class 3 dealer.  The dealer filled out the Form 4s and the Certification of Compliance for me, so all I had to do was look it over and sign.  I submitted the Form 4s under my trust.  After looking at a few example cert of compliance forms online, I noticed that in section 1 of the cert, it asks for "Name under which the application was filed".  My dealer listed my name, not the trust's, but every example form I've seen lists the trust's name.  Is this going to kick my forms back?  If so, are we talking another 8-10 week wait, or simply a call from ATF and faxing a new form?

:: Edited to add that this is my first NFA experience, so sorry for the stupid question.

The dealer should have listed the trust name, not yours.

It may go through anyway. But if it does get kicked back for that reason alone, it should not delay things for more than a week or two (the time it takes BATFE to notify you and for you to submit a correct certificate).

Tony beat me to it

Box 1: Trust Name, i.e. "Husband and wife revocable living trust"
Box 2: Your Name
Box 3: United States of America
then sign and date.

Edit: I would imagine they will just let it go anyway.  Who knows though, its the BATFE we're talking about
