I have a problem with my C&R. I sent the CLEO pages to what i thought was the police dept for where I live (moved here recently). It turns out that its actually the city next to me. The police department sent me my form back, but the information on it is wrong. What next? 1. Do i have to redo the whole application, even the ATF part. Also, how would I indicate that I have already paid if i do? 2. Can i just send in the same form to the correct CLEO, or do I have to get a whole new form and send that? Thanks in advance guys, cant wait to get this thing and start spending some money!! |
You lost me on the information was wrong part. It is a courtesy letter to them. There is nothing for them to fill out. Nothing for them to approve or disapprove, or signoff on. If you sent it to the wrong ones, and they sent it back, you should send it to the proper ones. I dropped mine off in person, with the fine print instructions of it being a courtesy and needing no action from them highlighted and drew a big arrow star next to it. I have frequent flier miles there anyway, they know exactly who I am. Nothing bad, CCW, Form 1, etc. |

When i say the information is wrong, what i meant was that I listed the New Albany Police Department as the CLEO, while it should be the Columbus Police Department, as I live outside the village limits of New Albany. Sorry I should have been more clear on that point, guess I need more coffee! |
