Hi guys, I was thinking about procuring a German Mauser and to start my own collection.  I'm wondering though where can I pick one up that will shoot relaibly, and what kind of work can I expect to have to do to it in order to get it back into shape.  Also, where online can I order such a rifle.  I know of gunbroker and gunsamerica but I have a bad experience with gunbroker and I'll never go back.  What are some things to look for too?  Thanks alot.

Do you have a C&R license? There's a tacked thread of C&R vendors at the top of this forum. I've dealt with many of them already with good service. Get a C&R license and send a signed COPY of it everyone on the list. I particularly like AIM Surplus and Allan's Armory.
