Sure everyone has there own indivdual needs, likes, dislikes and this can chenge from moment to moment. I just like seeing other peoples setup and what they like to use, most of the time I learn something and/or see something I never thought of. Thanks

Can anyone tell me how the sizes run for the CIRAS and the Eagle Plate Carrier with Cummerbund?

Me:
6'1" and 180lbs
Jacket Size = 42 Long
Trousers Waist = 34

I currently use the old original style Eagle TAC-V1 vest in size medium and it works well because it rides high enough in the front to allow me to bend.  Will the CIRAS and PC+C mediums fit the same?

Thanks,

Me too
5'11" 185lbs
Chest 44
Waist 34

You know I have been wondering the same thing. Having been overweight for many years , I always got large, all the time. However now I buy a lot of things in Medium and have wondered about the vests. Anyone our size have the Medium, maybe you could tell us what type of extra room or lack there of you have?

Hey guys,

just to give you an idea.

I'm 5'10" , 185 lbs.  w/ a 44" chest and 34-36" waist, and I wear a Medium CIRAS.  You can check out my post on the CIRAS Land in page 2 of this Armory.

It's got plates in them, and I still got over 5" of height and 14" of girth to play with.  The medium more than fits my bill; in fact some say that I can probably get by w/ a Small.  hope this helps.

here i just bumped that post just for you guys

The Eagle PC comes in med and large.  Evidently this refers to the plate pocket, not the actual size of the PC, though the large is a tad taller to accomodate the larger plate pocket.

So I have 10x12" plates, I guess I need to go with the large then?

It seems that you can go with either the medium or the large.

Unfortunately, this seems to be an academic exercise since no one has them in stock.

What plates are you guys running? Nice to know that these will hold both plate and insert. I dont know of anyone right now that has these in stock other than a few guys on ebay. I was going to replace my wee with a woo but plan on getting this. Would like the ciras but cant justify the $$ for what I need it for.

I personally run steel, though I plan on getting a couple of ceramic or other type in the near future.

I'm not done, but mine is starting to come around.

(1.)DBT Admin pouch
(2.)Tactical Tailor triple mag shingle
(3.)Eagle MLCS double mag pouch
(4.)Eagle MLCS Med pouch

I'm still waiting on an Eagle M4/1911 pouch from Triad Tactical and a Buzzcut from Eggroll.

Can anyone here that has experience with this product tell me if the plates need to be tapered at top to fit or will the 10 x 12 famastone work?

Thanks in advance for any help

Hey Va_Dinger,
What brand of carrier are you using?  Is it for plates or for ballistic?

Thanks,
RJ

It's an Eagle.

It will have plates eventually.
