What are you guys using for field and home storage of various cans. Looking for a soft case with individual packets for each can. Something that can be easily attach to range bag and be taken out for storage. Been lookin around with no luck. Show me what you guys came up with.

Would like atleast 6 spots for various size cans smallest being .22.

You looking for individual pouches? Or one big one?

You can find individual pouches all over the place. Some made for suppressors, some like this that are made for flashlights.

If you want one big one, probably check with Steve @ Battlecloth and he'll make whatever you want.

At home, I just use a three drawer unit in my safe. In the field, I put all my suppressors in one specific backpack in their individual pouches along with the ATF forms. I always use the same backpack and all the suppressors always go back in there. This makes it easy to do a headcount at the end of the range session.

5.11 Pistol Case

I use one of these, you can store 5 suppressors in it and it has a zipped pocket to keep a copy of your trust and approved form 1/4. I bought it at a local police equipment store for twenty something. Obviously let your suppressors cool down before you put them in the case, I've had no issues and it fits inside my 511 double rifle case for range trips.

I read on a thread a while back of this one company that will let you measure and custom order pelican case inserts.  Just drop in your measurements and layout and BOOM, custom case.  All factory cut too, very clean. Throw in some spots foe mounts, adapters, tools, etc.

You can even do two layers for more hosts or cans.  It looked slick and a neat way to cover multiple sizes.

Sounds like a great opportunity for someone to make some money off a new product. I store all my silencers on host weapons though.

I use a 6 pouch rifle mag pouch satchel thing. The pouches will hold one AK mag, 2 AR mags or a can each. Pretty convenient for grab and go actually. Not sure of the brand, think it was just something cheap I picked up a few years back.

I know you posted all the cans were in your possession, but I never saw a final shot with the case loaded up. Got one handy?

For those that wanted to see a final picture, I tried to upload one a while ago, but the thread is archived / locked.

Does anyone know how to add to an archived / locked thread?  I'd love to add this picture back to the original thread...

Here is a pic I took this morning:

Do you leave them in there all the time? I always heard moisture builds up in cases and to never store them for long periods of time in a case.

No - I don't keep them in there - I only use it to take them all to the range or when I go an a guys weekend, etc...
Normally they are locked up in a safe...

So am I the only one who just piles them on a shelf in the safe?

Or puts them in an old sock and then just stacks them in the range bag when I head out the door?

Think this might work. Thanks Mike. Can I fit a .30 can in those mag holders?

I screw em on a pistol or rifle& move it to a corner....then I buy more...  don't even put them in safe half the time, much less worry about a case..

When I get my first cans (approved now, just waiting)....I am going to put them in one of the dozen or so Crown Royal bags I have stored up.

Just let them cool first!

One of mine got set down on a nylon backed blanket that was covering a table at our last event, and it melted the blanket / nylon all over the can...

+1,  I use a surplus 240 bravo spare barrel bag (bulldog tactical).  It's rated to 1,800 degrees and opens up flat to use on top of a table/shooting bench. It also allows me the option of dropping the cans into the bag and leaving the range before they totally cool.
