I was going to order a Garand in April of this year, got my forms done and notarized and all that, then decided I couldnt afford it.  Now my parents want to get me one for Christmas.  Can I use the notarized form from April 2007, or will the CMP want one more recent?

fyi I know the prices are different now, so i redid all those forms.  I just dont want to have to chase down another notary if I dont have to.

call them but i think that will be ok. IIRC they allow for those up to 3 years or so.

It should not be a problem as long as you did not change any of the information on the notarized form and/or the persons commission as a notary has not expired.  Look on the notary stamp and make sure the date has not passed.
Back when they required a new notarized Certification with each order, I would get three or four forms notarized at one time and keep them on hand for the  future orders.

Good Luck but be prepared (start saving) for the next one.  M1's can become habit forming.

Commission is still valid.

Looks like im good to go.  Just hope my parents get some 30.06 to go with it!
