How long does it usually take for the CMP to email that your order has been entered? The tracking shows that the forms were delivered a week ago. I don't want to call and annoy somebody if it's still within the normal time frame.
ETA: My Garand was delivered by FedEx yesterday. It looks really nice, with only minimal finish wear around the muzzle and gas cylinder. I can't wait for the order for the Greek 30-06 to show up! Thanks! Semper Fi |

According to their COO CMP is currently behind 2-3 weeks on opening the baskets of mail they have. http://www.thecmp.org/forums/showthread.php?t=11820 |
I just went through the CMP carbine ordering process, with my service-grade carbine delivered yesterday. It took about 1.5 weeks to get an email after my mail packet arrived, and about 30 days total from mailing to delivery. Believe it or not, that's not that bad.
