G-26 mostly in summer, spring, or when the weather is nice.   1911, when I have a jacket to help conceal it.  Depends on the even and the environment as well.  But mostly 9mm, with a transition over to the .45 more and more as time goes on.

Link Posted: 5/19/2002 8:13:30 AM EDT
1911 in .45, of course.  When I'm going to throw something in the Jeep on the way to work I will grab the USP .45 now and then.  It all depends on how I feel and what I'm wearing
Link Posted: 5/19/2002 8:26:48 AM EDT
40 Cal in a Glock and a Kel-tec.

Link Posted: 5/19/2002 8:32:02 AM EDT
Glock 36 or Springfield 1911A1 which are my primary carry guns. But every once in a while I'll carry my Glock 19

Link Posted: 5/19/2002 9:11:49 AM EDT
It's a Stoner .308 for me, because of the hostile environment in which I work.

When there's a big sale weekend the tension gets really thick near The Gap, Wet Seal, and Spencer Gifts.  As for the food court, you'd better make sure you've got your bullet-proof clipboard in hand to dodge the sniper fire.

I carry 9mm, .40, and .45ACP, depending on what week it is.  I rotate them and have no reluctance to carry any of them.
Link Posted: 5/19/2002 1:05:12 PM EDT
Have to carry 9mm at work.  Usually .40 when I need to conceal carry off work. If concealment's not an issue, .45.
Link Posted: 5/19/2002 1:08:00 PM EDT
seeing how im not 21 yet, i WILL be carrying .45acp

most likly a springfield or kimber.

I carry a Jericho 9mm.
If its good enough for the Israeli's, who fight for their life every day.
Its good enough for me.

Nine Millimeter.  Sig Sauer 228.
115 grain Hydra Shoks.
Link Posted: 5/19/2002 1:46:48 PM EDT
I carry a Glock 30 unless my bad back is acting up. Glock 36 is lighter and easier on the screwed up lower spine.

Oh, for the uninformed, those are both 45s.
Link Posted: 5/19/2002 1:48:24 PM EDT
I go with my Glock 30 .45 ACP most of the time.  If I'm wearing shorts and only a t-shirt, I drop my S&W Airweight .38 Special with +P Hydrashock in my pocket.

Kimber.45 Custom Classic w/230 grain HS

 I can't carry a gun.

Colt Double Eagle Mark II Officers in 45 ACP.

The Mark II was the try by Colt that actually worked. I get 9 rounds of 45 230 gr hydrashok and a DA/SA trigger. The grip is full 1911 size, with the officer length upper.
Link Posted: 5/19/2002 5:24:10 PM EDT
10MM,200 grain Hollow points.Better accuracy than the 45,just as much knockdown power as the 45 and more than the 40 S(hort) and W(eak).
Link Posted: 5/19/2002 5:36:37 PM EDT
I clicked off on .45, but sometimes I carry the S&W 686 loaded with 130gr Federal Hydrashoks.  Something about looking into the chambers of a .357 when pointed, and seeing the hollowpoints looking right back at you...
Link Posted: 5/19/2002 6:06:07 PM EDT
Ususally .40.
Sometimes .32 or .380.

Always  Beretta.
Link Posted: 5/19/2002 6:38:13 PM EDT
Glock 26 with 10 +P 124grn 9mm in the mag.  It is very comfortable and comforting.

S&W 1066 - Yes, it's not a lightweight, but when you care to send the very best... send 10mm!
Link Posted: 5/20/2002 8:26:18 AM EDT
I carry a Glock 30 with 185gr +P Corbon.
Link Posted: 5/20/2002 8:29:41 AM EDT
Compact 1911, loaded w/ orig. Black-Talon 230 grn. 45acp.

Link Posted: 5/20/2002 8:30:52 AM EDT
.40 Glock 23.  Ultra reliable, combat accurate, light weight.

The only drawback is the price of the GD preban drop-free mags.
Link Posted: 5/20/2002 8:35:34 AM EDT
.45 Hydra-Shock 230 most all the time.
.40 Glock 27 w/ Gold Dot's as a backup gun most of the time.
Sometimes I carry my 3" model 29 .44 Mag with a .45 USPc as a backup. .44 Gold Dot's. I take my protection seriously. I can hide 2 full sized USP .45's under a tee shirt, with spare mags, without printing.

Heat is not a factor as you should carry a real gun for real threats. Carrying a gun should be comforting, NOT comfortable.
Link Posted: 5/20/2002 8:36:42 AM EDT
I carry a full size Kimber in 45 acp in VM-2 holster.  They actually conceal better than you would think.
Link Posted: 5/20/2002 8:54:49 AM EDT
Contrary to most advice on caliber, I started carring a NAA .22 mag. Its difficult to conceal any weapon when wearing scrubs. Just clip the holster to the unders and position it next to the pager. It is a constant carry.
Link Posted: 5/20/2002 9:06:53 AM EDT
115gr Winchester +P+
2 15 rd spare mags
This should get me to my truck and my shotgun or perimeter carbine.

Deleted double post.

.338 UltraMag

Uhh, why would god need to carry concealed??
Isn't he bulletproof, or faster tahn a speeding bullet, or able to alter space and time and stuff??

Any if he DID carry, why would he need to acrry concealed? Who's gonna jail god for carrying improperly???

To the question....

I carry a 9mm on my person, and a .40 S&W in my car.

I prefer to carry .40, but haven't yet found one suitable for carrying concealed.
